Let me ask you a question: Do you actually understand the concept of freedom? The word freedom is thrown around a lot but the concept is never explained. Christ has said that we are free and we are free indeed but free from what or free to do what? Recently I’ve been blessed with knowing freedom and being able to teach the concept so that others might know it more.

Living in America many of us have never considered what it is like to feel the heavy hand oppression. We do not know first hand the tyranny of a king. We haven’t felt the onslaught of a one sided economic market. We haven’t been grimaced with poor living standards and inadequate medical care. So being “free” feels no different than being enslaved. So how does the concept of freedom work?

Freedom is found not only spiritually, but also economically, politically, and financially. The best way I can describe freedom is that you are no longer bound by chains that hold you back. In the Spirit world it is your sin that binds you. In the economic world it is the tax that government bring, in the political world it is the political red tape that doesn’t allow to advance technologies or better lifestyles and financially it i our own discipline that withholds us from obtaining freedom. Freedom is like running a race, the end is not a finish line but rather a goal. You desire to achieve that goal and running the race will get you there. However, there are strings attached to you holding you back from actually completing the task at hand! Have you ever wondered why video games who’s main mission is to level up and acquire weapons and wealth are the most sought after games? It is because the very idea of attaining goals and building a legacy is naturally wrought inside of us! We were meant to build legacies and in a video game there are no restraints. The only way you are limited is by your own devotion to acquiring the titles.

The real world works the same way it is just much harder. So freedom is cutting the chords that hold you back from obtaining your rewards. Once those chords are cut you can run as free as you want without any resistance. Run the race if you have been freed from chords which hold you back. Now, to bring it full circle… The only aspect in life where the chords can be cut with no work is the spiritual life. Christ has cut the chords of your Spiritual life and now you run free Spiritually towards the goal which is not death but everlasting rewards! I also noticed one more thing. Since one your areas has been cut and you are now free. You can use that Spiritual man to cut the chords that hold you back in other areas. When the concept of freedom is realized it is only natural to work harder because we see that our labor means something. It is to my experience that when people see the benefit of being free they become harder workers not more lazy.

I thought I’d be a little creative and re write the declaration of independence for today’s societies and current issues. If you want to “sign” the petitions simply hit ‘like’ and repost it on your wall, blog, forum or meetup group. Take time to read the facts of a corrupt president portion and add to it if you think I left something out. Let us create a MORE PERFECT UNION.




THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, January 12, 2013.

The unanimous Declaration of the people in the United States of America,

During the natural course of human events, at times it becomes necessary for a people to dissolve the political parties which have separated them (republican and democrat) and come together to reestablish the rights that the government has been suppressing for so long. We call upon the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them; we unite in an effort to stop the heinous destruction of the founding fathers convictions and constitutions. A decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation from tyranny.

These absolute truths should be obvious, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain Rights which cannot be taken away, that among these rights are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments were instituted among  Men, these government derived their powers from the consent of the people, as of late they have usurped the people’s authority and  whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Governments should not be changed merely because of situational circumstances we should not alter foreign or domestic policy because of recession, we should not alter the rights because of localized fears or change it according to communist philosophy; and all experiences have shown, that mankind are more willing to suffer than to right themselves by abolishing the forms of government to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object demonstrates a design to reduce them under absolute Dictatorship, it is their right, no, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.–Such has been the patient sufferance of the American People for decades; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the current presidents of America is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object to establish an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

They have over ridden the Constitution through “executive order”.
They have allowed our people to be over taxed and over regulated by a pseudo government banking system.
They have started unjust wars in an attempt to override established governments and take for themselves the plunder of oil, resources gold and other such known commodities.
They override the voice of the people for the voice of a company.
They have set the people against each other through mundane topics which hold little value to the importance of the founders.
They have signed into law contradicting values which are directly against the constitution (i.e.) NDAA, Patriot Act, Agenda 21 to name a few.
They have used the office of President to gain monetary wealth for themselves by giving in to the bribery of businesses and individuals who look to regulate the market place and regulate the rights of the people.
They have undoubtedly usurped their position by taking Orders from the United Nations and not following the rules to the Just War Theory.
The Presidents have repeatedly gone against their words and “promises” to promote the belief of a third party or to implement personal agendas which they hold to.
They have erected a multitude of New Offices, and have sent swarms of bureaucrats to the people, and eat out their substance and profit.
They have not been diligent with the people’s monies. They allowed for the racking up of debt to the tune of 16 trillion dollars.
They have removed the United States from the Gold Standard and replaced it with an inferior commodity which is fiat money.
They have combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving them Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
They have instituted  a secret organized privately owned police force which do bidding on their behalf.
They no longer consult the Constitution on critical issues nor do they respect the principles of the original Declaration of Independence.
They hinder job growth by raising taxes to 40% and they stunt production through means keeping mal investments alive.
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
They have instituted public schooling which teaches our children the values of communism and socialism not Free enterprise and the difference between Rights and Privileges.
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences
They have repeatedly tried to blend the borders between Canada and Mexico in an attempt to over extend the physical boundaries of the United States without the consent of the people.
For taking away our rights to Life (through abortions) our rights to liberty (through executive order) and our right to pursue happiness (through Keynesian economic philosophy).
They have made it difficult on us to perform any practices we may want to do on our own whether it is teaching our own children or healing our sick.
They has plundered over seas, ravaged their Coasts, burnt down towns, and destroyed the lives of many people.
They are at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.
They have executed any political figure that has stood against them, whether it is a member of congress or a president who has stepped into office.
They have silenced their opposition, neglected the cry of freedom, stifled dissenters our dead cry from the grave.

They have played favorites and have not treated mankind equally.

They have grown the power of president from a humble representative to a walking tyrant.

They have secured the domestic tranquility for a few leaving the rest to fend.

They have shifted the balance of justice by classifying people into groups rather than looking at each person individually.

They have supplemented their income through the selling of the office of President.

They turned a blind eye to victims who needed national relief.

They have become the Despotism that the founding fathers fought so hard against.

They are currently trying to remove the second amendment in an attempt to render the people unarmed and vulnerable to government attack and possible take over a new political system.


In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been ignored and kept off the national platform. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

We, therefore, the People of the united States of America, in general form have assembled, we call upon the rights that nature has granted us and the God of nature to do all that is necessary for us to establish domestic tranquility and pursue our intentions. We do this in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these States, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the governing of an overgrown Federal government, and that all political connection between them and the States herein, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

A fulfilled life

And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah” — because he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid. And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” Suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with themselves.
Mark 9:4-8

In this passage, we see Elijah and Moses in the presence of Jesus Christ. It is a picture ofJesus as the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. You see, Elijah represents the prophets and Moses represents the law. And here they are, both finding the glory of God in the presence of the Only Begotten Son. Jesus, Himself, said, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17).

You can find encouragement in the law and the prophets. But the only true glory in life — and in eternity — is being found in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. True joy, fulfillment, and peace in your life come when you have a relationship with Him. Paul said, “For me to live is Christ but to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). This is a two-fold promise. Living every day withJesus is such a blessing. And knowing that when we die we will be with Him, face-to-face, for eternity is even better! So until we are with Him for eternity, we keep serving Him.

Jesus fulfilled everything in the law and everything in the prophets. And Jesus can surely fulfill everything in your life when you surrender it to Him.

The real mistake

Now as they came down from the mountain, He commanded them that they should tell no one the things they had seen, till the Son of Man had risen from the dead. So they kept this word to themselves, questioning what the rising from the dead meant. And they asked Him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” Then He answered and told them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and restores all things. And how is it written concerning the Son of Man, that He must suffer many things and be treated with contempt? But I say to you that Elijah has also come, and they did to him whatever they wished, as it is written of him.”

And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them. Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him, greeted Him.
Mark 9:9-15

Which group of people do you most identity yourself with in this story?

First, there were the disciples who were with Jesus on the mountain, experiencing the amazing view of Jesus, Elijah, and Moses. Yet notice, when all was said and done, they didn’t worship the Lord — they only asked Him more questions. Rather than basking in His glory, they wondered what it meant. And maybe you are that way; God has met with you and you know what it means to be a Christian, but instead of following Him and worshiping Him, you decide not to trust Him until you have all your questions answered.

Another group of people we see were the other disciples down the mountain. These guys seemed helpless — they didn’t know what to do. Although Jesus had been with them, instructing them and investing His life into them, they didn’t know how to effectively minister to people. The crowds exhausted them and the scribes overwhelmed them. They couldn’t defend their faith because they largely hadn’t been paying attention. Maybe you feel this way; you’ve been to church much of your life, but you really don’t know the Scriptures, how to share your faith with others, or how to defend your faith. 1 Peter 3:15 says, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” Are you built up in the faith and in your relationship with the Lord to do this?

The third group of people Mark mentions were the scribes. It seems all they wanted to do was argue and pick theological fights with the people. May I encourage you to look to the Lord for your guidance, wisdom, and strength. Get into the Word of God and bring your questions to Him. When we don’t understand things clearly, it seems so easy to start complaining or criticizing with others. But don’t be like the scribes who just looked for fights.

Lastly, there were the people in the crowds. These were the people who, when seeing Jesus, ran to Him and greeted Him. And I believe these are the kind of people Jesus desires. Why? Because no matter what questions, doubts, arguments, apathy, or problems they had, they dropped everything and ran to Him. You see, God wants to answer all of our questions, increase our faith, and fill us with an unwavering hope, but we must trust Him first. We must run to Him with an open heart and worship Him. To do anything less is to take Him for granted.And that’s the real mistake of the other three groups.

So what person are you? Ask the Lord to change your heart. Let Jesus Christ be the only one you go to when your life is full of questions and difficulties. Run to Him.

4 Pillars to succeed in anything:

4 Basic principles

Life is a complicated issue that comes with little to no manuals and even fewer people who know their way about this place. In this discussion I would like to tell you the 4 basic principles that I’ve learned through experience to help me gain momentum towards success.

A master of these 4 principles achieve success no matter what field they are in. It is as if the definition of success resides in these 4 basic principles:

1) Discipline: 

Discipline is a difficult principle to master. Especially in the day and age we live in where distractions are considered entertainment and there are more than enough ways to be distracted. However, without discipline we cannot adequately accomplish any task let alone accomplish it with perfection. So how does one gain discipline? That’s an issue I’ll leave for another day right now I want you to ask yourself what goals do I have and what am I doing that i hindering me from reaching my goals? What distractions are keeping from advancing my motives? The act of staying away from distraction is discipline but that means nothing if it is not accompanied by the next pillar.

2) Consistency:

Consistency is another principle I picked up along the way of life. The problem with many people (including myself) is that we may be able to discipline ourselves for a time but we aren’t consistent with it. We feel good about not watching television and instead we work out but success is not a “hit it and quit it” way of life. It is a matter of endurance. Going through the process of continual discipline and rejecting of the pleasures of life are what is necessary for accomplishing your goals. Discipline and consistency will get you to success but the next pillar I will introduce to you will give you the quality of success.

3) Focus:

Anyone can struggle through college and walk into a degree but do you remember the things you learned? Anyone can create a painting but how is the quality of the painting? Is it on par with artists? The quality of your results depend on the focus you put into achieving the desired goal. This pillar is contingent upon the first two. Without the first two pillars forget about this pillar it won’t even work. Focus is the amount of energy you pour into what you want to accomplish. The more focus the better the quality.

And lastly, commitment:

Do you have the commitment to stick to your goals? The truth is I spent the last 6 years of my life in community college because I lacked commitment to stick to one major. I had poor grades because I lacked the focus to put forth any real quality in my classes. And I learned discipline and consistency after dropping 14 classes.

I learned these principles through experience, and I write them here to share them with you. There are others I know who have applied these concepts to their lives and the fruit has been immense. In our recent times a famous figure I can think of that acquired and became a master of these four disciplines is Ron Paul.

He had the discipline to not be bribed he had the focus to give good quality work to make articulate and coherent arguments to explain his points and positions. He had consistency  in the sense that he consistently preached the same message for over 30 years and lastly he carried commitment to see his vision all the way through.

I highly suggest picking someone to follow and if you can’t find one then be the person you desire to be. Become a master of the 4 pillars which lead to success

A rebel in the world

A rebel is someone who goes against today’s authority and culture. Most of the time you think a rebel is someone who is bad, and unfit for society and most of the time you are correct. I know in ordinary rebel means sinner, but everyone is sinning so its no longer rebellious to sin. Jesus was a rebel who counter counter cultural.

Be a righteous rebel!

Stand against corruption, bribery and short term gratification. Be a man who stands with his wife and not against her. Be a wife who respects her husband and fights against the urge to cut his head off for being incompetent. I have decided to be a rebel, one who stands with the righteous because the world today is just too corrupt for my tastes.

The Way it Works

There was a time in America where it was already assumed that these two principles (God and freedom) go hand in hand. But that concept has been lost since there has been such a spiritual upheaval in American society today. So in this blog I set out to prove that without God there is no freedom. My argument is that essentially God is necessary for freedom to exist.

What is Freedom? 

We hear this word thrown around a lot and to many people the concept is elusive. What are we talking about when we say, “I fight for freedom”. Or the soldiers on the front lines fight for my “freedom”. Freedom to do what? Or freedom from what? That is the real question, what kind of freedom are they fighting for? Freedom is a by-product. It is a by-product from understanding another philosophical idea which are Rights and Privileges

What is a Right vs. Privilege

These two terms couldn’t be more opposite from each other but every day they are the most confused terms by many young Americans. “It is my right to have healthcare!”  but is it? “It is my right to party at night!” But is it really? A right is something that cannot be taken from you. No one can remove your rights, however, someone can take away a privilege. The hard part is discerning between the two in today’s society.

Let’s make an example:

Let’s say you have a dream at night. Am I able to steal your dream? Or borrow your dream? Can I manipulate the dream you had? Of course not. Your thoughts and your ideas are yours you own them! They belong to you. Another example: your mouth, can I take away your right to speak? Of course not! I can suppress it or hinder it. But I didn’t give you your mandible so therefore I cannot take it away I can only hinder you from using it.

However, if you owned a piece of land and I asked to cross it and you said, “OK” you are giving me a privilege to cross your land I don’t have the right to do it. I cannot just cross your land at will I must ask you for permission. Let’s say one day I asked you if I can cross the piece of land and you said “NO!” do you have the right to tell me no? Yes! Must I abide by that? Yes! But in today’s society they believe they have the right to cross other peoples rights because it is their right. This is not true.

Back to the argument

So if you have a clear understanding of a Right and a privilege then the rest should make sense.

The first idea we need to settle is that there is no force on earth stronger than government when it comes to power. Just think about it, govt is the only entity that breaks into peoples homes (FBI) and no one calls the cops. They are the only force to take money from you whether you like it or not (Taxes) and no one can stop them. Govt is the strongest force on earth.

If this force is what “grants” us our rights then they technically are not rights correct? They are privileges. This means the government can take the privileges away at will. So then, it stands to reason that if we want to protect our rights FROM govt then they cannot COME from govt. They must come from somewhere else. That somewhere else would have to be a force greater than government, stronger than government and keep politicians accountable for their actions. The only known force strong enough for all of that is this guy we call God.

Hence, in the declaration it is stated: When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

In layman’s terms this is what it says: During the natural course of human history, there are times when people feel the need to secede from the governments which hold the humans together and to latch onto the powers of the earth which the laws of Nature and the God ENTITLE them so therefore we should list all the things which cause us to want to disband.

Did you notice that they draw their power to do this from nature (physical being) and God? The only way one can rise against the machine is to believe there is a power stronger than the machine that allows them to do so.

So what is Freedom?

Freedom is the ability to openly practice your God given rights without suppression from the only force that is strong enough to suppress them which is govt. Without God there are no rights. One might try to derive rights from evolution but the problem is that evolution has no political authority. In fact, to believe in evolution is to say that there is nothing wrong with the strongest lording over the weakest because there is no sense of true morality. It is only wrong because it feels wrong but what kind of basis is a feeling? The strong would merely ignore the sentiments of the weak.

So when the Founding father’s set up the nation they claimed that the people have the authority based on their God given rights and that this authority GRANTS government to be present among them to secure ability to practice freedom. But as soon as the government tries to play the role of God and it starts teaching people that govt is the giver of freedom and rights then the people have the right to dissolve the government and start a new one. This is because they knew that government is corrupt.

As the saying goes, “Unchecked power always becomes corrupt”

Basic argument in a nut shell

1)No force on earth stronger than government

2) Freedom is derived from fighting govt that suppresses rights

3) rights do not come from govt they come from a higher authority

4) The only higher authority is God

5)God gives rights, rights fight for freedom

Therefore God is necessary for Freedom.
